We are seeking a Travel Agency Team Leader to build and grow our team! You will be responsible for selling travel, while identifying additional agents to join the team as well. Over time you will oversee and coordinating the activities of the entire sales team. The qualified individual will be working very independently especially at first.
Responsibilities:
- Travel sales including Cruises, Tours and Resorts
- Supervise team of retail sales workers
- Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
- Train and evaluate employees
- Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
- Resolve escalated customer complaints
Qualifications:
- Previous experience travel sales preferred but can train a REALLY dedicated person
- Truly great with computers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- TRUE leadership qualities
- No shyness
