Event Management Intern
Beauport Hospitality Group is looking for summer and fall interns for our Events department. Gain first-hand experience in event sales, planning, and execution by working with our team of event professionals at Beauport Hotel Gloucester, Cruiseport Gloucester, and Beauport Cruiselines.
- Learn about all stages of event management from the initial tour with prospective clients, to creating proposals and coordination appointments, through execution and management on the day of the event.
- Shadow event managers to understand the day to day work of event professionals.
- Complete special projects in coordination with our Director of Events.
- Respond to phone calls and emails from clients.
- Assist our events team with administrative tasks and event setup.
