Responsibilities
Benefits, Leave & Compliance
- Manage all employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, 401(k), perks,
- Partner with finance to reconcile benefits invoices and ensure accuracy in
- Administer leaves of absence and accommodations in accordance with
- Maintain compliance with all employment regulations across multiple states,
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, including FMLA, ADA, COBRA,
- Own our HRIS and people systems—maintain accurate records, troubleshoot
- Ensure data integrity across systems and support regular audits, compliance
- Develop and maintain SOPs for People Ops processes.
- Partner with finance on payroll alignment, headcount tracking, and workforce
Reporting & Insights
- Track and report on key HR metrics (benefits utilization, headcount trends,
- Provide data-backed insights that support strategic decision-making and
- Support leaders with people dashboards and tools that drive accountability
Automation & Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in HR workflows and implement automation tools to
- Partner with IT and vendors to ensure HR systems are fully integrated and
- Lead trainings to help teams adopt new tools and processes.
- Work closely with finance, IT, and legal to ensure HR data is aligned and
- Serve as a project manager for initiatives that span multiple departments
- Support audits and compliance reporting, ensuring seamless data flow
- Assist in forecasting HR-related costs, such as benefits expenditures and

- Directly manage and develop the People Experience Specialist, with a focus on
- Ensure onboarding processes are smooth, scalable, and integrated across
- Review and refine offboarding workflows to ensure compliance and preserve
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support the professional growth
- Align onboarding/offboarding strategy with broader people ops goals and

Required
- 7 years in People Operations, HR, or related functions, with experience
- 2 years of managing a people operations team
- Strong background in HRIS tools, process improvement, and cross-functional
- Comfortable analyzing and presenting data to drive decision-making
- Deep knowledge of employment law across multiple states
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Proven ability to create structure and clarity in a fast-paced, high-growth
Preferred
- Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced startup or private equity-backed
- Background in implementing HR automations and improving system
- Knowledge of Deel, Paychex or related HR technology.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives from start
- Data dashboarding and analytics experience.
