Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 base salary lucrative ESOP

Position Overview:

We are working with a long-standing, privately held company based in Brentwood, TN to help them hire an Accountant & Financial Analyst to join their small and agile Finance & Accounting team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of accounting and financial analysis, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and thrives in a highly collaborative, in-office environment.

This is a 100% onsite role. The company maintains a small team (currently 3 people) and requires at least 2 team members present in the office daily for coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support AP/AR workflows, journal entries, and month-end close

• Perform financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting

• Assist with internal reporting and analysis

• Provide reconciliation support and adhere to internal controls

• Work cross-functionally in a flexible, team-first environment

• Engage in various accounting projects and process improvements

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, models, etc.)

• Demonstrated ability to handle both AP and analytics functions

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced small office setting

• Willingness to handle a broad range of responsibilities

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in mortgage, lending, or real estate industries

• Familiarity with accounting software tools and systems
