Direct Hire: 55k (26.50/hr)

Job Summary:
The Business Office Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business office. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this position handles a variety of tasks related to finance, administration, and office operations.
Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for the Business Office.

Assist with various accounting functions, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Manage tuition billing and collections, maintaining accurate student financial records.

Provide support for financial aid programs.

Process accounts payable, including check preparation.

Prepare and process bank deposits.

Manage employee timecards and assist with payroll processing.

Oversee the maintenance of facilities and grounds, coordinating with vendors and purchasing necessary supplies.

Assist with special projects and events as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

Two (2) years of experience in a bookkeeping or business office role (preferred).

Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff, students, faculty, vendors, and the public.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
