Job Description:What you will do:
- Perform daily cash management functions including banking system operations, funding transactions, and investment transactions and updating the Chase spreadsheet for receipts and disbursements.
- Monitor positive pay results for disbursement accounts. Follow-up with appropriate departments for any potentially fraudulent checks.
- Prepare monthly journal entries to account for all receipts and disbursements.
- Execute inter-company settlements including preparation of journal entries, cash movements and review/analysis of balances.
- Prepare weekly operating cash position report.
- Perform assigned account reconciliations on a quarterly basis.
- Assist the Senior Treasury Accountant with the establishment and renewal of local bail statutory deposits.
- Prepare quarterly Schedule E, Part 1 reports.
- Perform special projects upon request
What you will bring to C&F:
- Bachelor degree in a business discipline, preferably accounting or finance
- Up to 1-year cash management experience preferred but will consider recent college graduate with some work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong personal computer and analytical skills including Intermediate/Advance experience with Excel(vlookups, pivot tables, macros, visual basics), Word and Outlook
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines on a monthly basis
- Able and willing to work overtime as needed to meet critical deadlines or perform daily treasury functions when banks are open on Company holidays
