Job Description
The Business Services Group (BSG) Claims team supports the claims operations of the Commercial Lines division at C&F. We strive to deliver exceptional service while minimizing waste. As a self-organizing, cross-functional team, we collaborate to find solutions and improve efficiencies, all while enjoying our work environment. This position offers the opportunity to work in the dynamic world of claims with an organization focused on continuous process improvement.
This position is fully remote, with strong preference for the candidate to be in the Morristown, NJ area, but open to full remote.
What you will do for C&F:
- Complete, monitor, recommend, and anticipate claims support needs to aid claims administration.
- Ensure data integrity and security in all claims support processing activities.
- Ensure compliance with special state requirements through real-time monitoring and administration.
- Utilize C&F AI and automation tools to streamline your work
What you will bring to C&F:
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- A solution-focused, self-starter, and team player.
- Resourceful problem solver with a quick learning ability for new concepts, methods, and technology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Continuous improvement mindset and comfort with change.
- Detail-oriented and resolution-driven.
- Capable of working across complex organizations.
- Curiosity about AI and machine learning applications in insurance, and an eagerness to experiment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $34,400.00 to a maximum of $64,600.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
