We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to help with daily business operations. The AGM is an entry-level management position responsible for managing associates, assigning specified work, focusing on store level operation performance, coaching, and developing subordinates. The AGM must be able to competently perform duties in the absence of upper management.
The AGM must be able to motivate and positively influence staff, especially during times of low morale. A top candidate for this position must have strong leadership and organizational skills. The AGM should be firm, but also approachable. This is an exempt position and will report to upper management of the store.

Qualifications:
- 1 year of job-related experience in a restaurant or customer service management such as a supervisor, lead, or entry-level manager
- Demonstrates team management, delegation and issue resolution skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures in the food service industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in interviewing, hiring, and training employees
- Must be Servsafe certified
Responsibilities:
- Hands on manager who is able to lead a team of Shift Leads and Bakers
- Conducts and coordinates on-the-job training for new Team members, and ensures all associates receive basic skills training to perform their jobs
- Oversee daily operations of the store, including food preparation, service, and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Consistently and creatively motivates Team Members to maintain our customer service scores
- Provides support, coaching and encouragement necessary to achieve business goals
- Ensures that the restaurant is clean, and all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
- Assigns work tasks and activities
- Prepares schedules, and ensure all shifts are covered
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with management team to develop and implement strategies for business growth
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long period, bend, use hands, appliances, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods

Schedule:
- Store hours are Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Friday - Saturday 8 a.m. - 11pm. Closed Sundays
- Assistant General Manager on-site hours if managed well should be a typical 45-hour workweek.
