We are looking for a reliable, driven, and people-savvy General Manager to lead our Issaquah bakery. As dessert-lover-in-chief, this individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a fast-paced, from-scratch bakery. They'll carefully supervise production and sales, manage people processes, and ensure the bakery is meeting the high standards our customers and employees deserve. Our goal is to bring friends and family together over the world’s best box of desserts. This is only possible if we have a Store Manager dedicated to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise production of desserts, ensuring rigorous quality standards are consistently achieved and recipes and process are followed
- Drive world-class customer service
- Ensure facility is always clean and compliant
- Train staff to understand and be passionate about quality, customer service, and cleanliness
- Strategically manage working schedule of hourly employees
- Provision store with all necessary supplies and ingredients, anticipating demand and challenges
- Manage detailed and tidy inventory system
- Keep store in perfect compliance with Crumbl HQ rules and guidelines/Operations Manual
- Maintain safe, sanitary, lawful working environment according to all applicable laws and regulations
- Create positive, uplifting workplace culture where all employees can feel welcome and happy to be at work
- Resolve and mediate conflicts/disputes with employees; proactively take action to prevent conflict and unnecessary tension
- Recruit, interview, and hire employees
- Read and interpret financial/production data for actionable use in operations
- Enforce and create store policies and practices in conjunction with Area Manager
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and organized records of store activity and programs
- Work with store leadership team to ensure employees have management access across all shifts (generally 5am - 10:30pm Mon-Sat)
- Optimize all activity to increase profit (balance cost focus and revenue focus)
Requirements
- Understand and demonstrate reliability, proactivity, and safety
- Work well with variety of personalities
- High school education or equivalent (higher education preferred, especially in business, culinary arts, or hospitality management)
- 2 years leadership/management experience, supervising at least 5 employees (restaurant/hospitality industry work preferred)
- Open availability (can be available for evening shifts, day shifts, and morning shifts as needed)
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Work well in fast paced, high pressure situations and environments
- Able to do basic math calculations
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to lift 50 lbs safely
- Reliable transportation (must have a vehicle)
- Authorized to work in USA
- 18 years or older
- Food Worker's Card (or ability to quickly get one within 14 days of hire)
