The Manager of Demand Planning will lead and oversee a team of Demand Planners responsible for analyzing data and optimizing the flow of goods across the supply chain. This role is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to improve supply chain efficiency. The Manager of Demand Planning will collaborate cross-functionally to align demand planning with business objectives, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance. This role requires strong leadership, people skills, strategic thinking, and analytical expertise to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure timely product delivery.

Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and coach a team of Demand Planners, providing guidance, training and support to enhance forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and execution of monthly ingredient orders sent to food distributors.
- Collaborate with Buyers by delivering detailed forecasts to optimize procurement strategies.
- Monitor and analyze historical data from vendors and suppliers to identify patterns and create actionable insights for demand planning.
- Develop and implement demand planning strategies that align with business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct scenario analysis to anticipate demand changes and devise strategies accordingly.
- Lead strategic supply chain projects by providing data driven recommendations and insights.
- Ensure adherence to procurement processes and policies while driving adoption and compliance within the organization.
- Oversee the resolution of purchase order and invoice discrepancies, addressing pricing, quantity, and unit of measure issues.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including procurement, finance, and operations, to ensure accurate demand forecasting and seamless supply chain execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics or a related field, preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or forecasting, with at least 2-4 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Excellent time management, communication and leadership skills
- Highly proficient in Excel and knowledge of SQL, with the ability to create and analyze complex reports and dashboards
- Strong data visualization and reporting skills to communicate insights effectively
- Experience with macOS and Apple products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work cross functionally with members in other departments / other locations.
- Strong organizational skills, close attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
