Performs policy holder services support for Crump's retail businesses, servicing agents and clients by providing mail, phone and commission support. Maintain servicing relationships with agents and clients.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Perform incoming mail responsibilities: open hard copy mail (400-600 pieces a month) scan to correct processor and to agent, scan to case; if grace notice, confirm with carrier still outstanding, notify agent, call client to confirm they are aware.
Call Center phone loop – answer and assist clients; research for policy or forward calls to the correct area within the team.
Process electronic mail and agent/client/advisor requests; contact carrier with owner, beneficiary, address, premium mode changes, face amount changes and obtain bills, statements, balances, ifls, health coverage cards, process assignments, releases, cancellation or surrenders as appropriate.
Support Health agent commission items to ensure their agent cases are paid by the insurance carrier.
QUALIFICATIONS

Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Effective time management skills
Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously
Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to work in a self-directed fashion
Experience with PC's in a Windows environment
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products
Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions
Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
Obtain and maintain required life/health insurance license(s)
Prior customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Crump's systems
Familiar with Crump resources and other departments across the organization
