Job Summary
Responsible for requesting all life insurance in-force policy illustrations, following-up to make sure they are received in a timely manner, and reviewing the illustrations for accuracy (based on the requested parameters).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrate an ability to gather, coordinate, review, analyze, and organize information relating to the accurate completion of life insurance in force illustration requests.
Be able to ask and answer questions related to the policy review and in force life insurance illustration process.
Possess the ability to communicate over the phone with clients in a professional and organized manner.
Demonstrate the ability to understand the life insurance illustration request form and how it should be completed properly to meet all client and carrier processing requirements.
Be able to review spelling, numbers, and the structure of a completed life insurance illustration, based on the request and data provided to the policy review analyst over the phone by the requesting party.
Possess the ability to effectively communicate and motivate insurance carriers to move expeditiously when errors need to be corrected.
Perform additional review and administrative functions as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
One year of college or secondary level educational courses and/or industry related courses.
Two years of experience within the life insurance industry or comparable industry.
Proficient in the use of PC, Word, and Excel systems.
Good typing skills.
Possess strong customer service skills.
Be proficient in the use of most standard business office equipment (i.e. fax, email, copier, etc).
Possess strong office writing, grammar, speaking, spelling, and listening skills. Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Possess a strong understanding of life insurance sales illustrations.
Have an understanding of the sales process, sales concepts, and life insurance policy structure.
Ability to evaluate circumstances and respond appropriately.
Need to be very detailed oriented and good with numbers.
Ability to multi-task without losing your effectiveness.
Ability to effectively communicate your needs and requirements to those supporting you.
Possess patience and strong training and people development skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience specifically in life insurance sales, life insurance sales support, and/or life insurance illustration case design
