We are seeking a passionate, results-driven marketing professional to lead communication efforts, enhance brand visibility, and drive engagement across all markets.
Key Job Functions of a Marketing Communications Manager
- Oversee and review budget planning for monthly billing
- Media planning, buying, reporting including direct mail advertising, outdoor advertising, radio advertising and public relations
- Oversee invoices to match P&L Report and update club code spreadsheet to report per club spend
- Develop annual flowchart to capture all traditional media buys, creative elements/monthly local promotions and media spend
- Keep track of monthly spend estimate against actual spend
- Evaluate and analyze data for various mediums (impressions, households, ratings, CPM, CPP and CPA) to make sure marketing campaigns reach target audience for media planning
- Research social followers for radio endorsers to support their target audience and popularity among listeners
- Develop tactics and strategy to generate local media coverage, create buzz and build awareness for Crunch (CR Fitness) for all markets we support
- Publicize the grand openings in all regions we support with press release and media alerts
- Promote Crunch as the best choice for fitness and wellness with human interest, trend and advice stories
- Maintain media list and update accordingly for all regions we support to include newspaper, magazines, TV, radio and websites.
- Develop unique story ideas that are relevant to what is going on nationally or in the various markets
- Provide sample story ideas for personal relations
- Track added value and total impressions through personal relations
- Find events within local markets for personal relations
What we look for in a Director of Marketing
Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations with a strong track record of success.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinker with a strategic mindset for brand storytelling and audience engagement.
Experience with social media management, email marketing, and digital advertising.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and adaptability.
Willingness to travel as needed to support various markets.
