Our mission is to revolutionize the fitness industry by developing state-of-the-art clubs that prioritize member experience through innovative construction, technology and design. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Vice President of Construction to lead and oversee all aspects of our construction projects.
Position Overview : The Vice President of Construction will be responsible for managing the entire construction process, from site selection to project completion. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in construction management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.Work closely with the operations team to develop and implement innovative design solutions that enhance the overall member experience.Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, maintain schedules, and ensure adherence to production and quality standards.Handle bid negotiations and contract management with vendors and contractors.Assist in tracking and managing invoices, budgets, and financial reports.Collaborate with the real estate team on site selection and feasibility studies.Develop and implement construction strategies, policies, and procedures.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Report project status, risks, and issues to senior executive management.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on commercial or fitness facility projects.Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to travel frequently to various project sites.Proficiency in construction management software and tools.Benefits :
