Job Summary
The Assistant Fitness Director (AFD) is responsible for the Personal Training team’s overall direction, coordination, sales, operations, and success under the guidance of the club’s Fitness Director.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Meeting potential clients with initial fitness assessments; presenting and selling the benefits of Personal Training
- Consistently and effectively manage trainers to ensure client satisfaction
- Provide guidance, coaching, and corrective action to staff when necessary
- Ensure all clients are receiving high quality training
- Meet or exceed Personal Training department revenue goals
- Ensure all administrative aspects are accurate and current
- Follow up with any missed appointments / sessions
- Maintain current knowledge of pricing and marketing campaigns to effectively communicate with members and prospective clients
- Conduct personal training sessions as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
