What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Janitorial Attendant position at Crunch Fitness - Northeast Florida?
The Janitorial/Maintenance Attendant plays an integral part in helping us keep our clubs looking shiny and new. Working with Club Leadership, the Janitor works to ensure that the club facility is kept clean, safe and sanitary.
Reports to:
- General Manager
Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Proficient reading and writing skills
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on the interior of the club
- Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club
- Assist with service to the members and guests, when required
- Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the general manager
- Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members and guests
- Know, understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
- Remain aware of club facility concerns including downed/broken equipment and building issues
- Assist in all projects delegated by club management
- Follow all policies and procedures in Team Member Handbook
- Any additional tasks/projects as requested by Management
Requirements:
- Certifications, as local/state laws require
- Lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
- Stand, bend, and squat with frequency
- Push and pull cleaning/maintenance equipment as needed
Meetings:
- Monthly or Weekly Department Meetings
- Employee Training Meetings
