The Manager in Training role supports the growth of the club by driving sales and service excellence.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets in new membership sales, lead generation, scheduled appointments, ACH attachment, and scheduling Fitness Assessments
* Establish and maintain an effective lead generation program through daily/weekly networking & grassroots marketing campaigns
* Conduct tours and telephone inquiries for prospective members
* Completes daily follow-up procedures on new leads and missed guests
* Attend events and find community opportunities for exposure
* Assist with training and improving team success by providing weekly coaching on selling and customer service to other team members
* Deliver exceptional customer service by providing a positive and friendly atmosphere
* Ensure all front desk systems are followed such as proper member check-in, guest registration, cash handling, delinquent account procedures, telephone inquiries and member requests
* Complete daily cleaning checklist
* Daily and/or occasional travel may be required
Qualifications:
* Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
* Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
* Ability to work nights and weekends is required
* Friendly and outgoing personality
* Efficient and effective communication skills
* Able to multi-task and excel in a busy environment
* Team oriented individual
