We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated General Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our fitness facility.

Position Overview:
The Fitness General Manager will be responsible for the overall management, growth, and success of the fitness facility. This role will involve overseeing all aspects of the facility's operations, including staff leadership, member services, sales, budgeting, and maintaining a positive gym environment. The GM will work closely with department heads to ensure the highest standards of member satisfaction, employee performance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of fitness professionals, trainers, front desk staff, and custodial employees.
• Foster a positive, energetic, and inclusive culture that promotes teamwork and high performance.
• Hire, train, and conduct regular performance evaluations for staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Operations & Facility Management:
• Oversee the daily operations of the fitness center, ensuring the facility is clean, organized, and fully functional.
• Manage inventory, ordering of supplies, and maintenance of equipment.
• Handle scheduling, member check-ins, and oversee the overall flow of operations.
• Sales & Membership Growth:
• Drive membership sales, renewals, and retention efforts by creating and executing promotional strategies.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns to increase brand visibility and attract new members.
• Ensure exceptional member experience and satisfaction through personalized engagement.
• Budget & Financial Management:
• Develop and manage the facility’s budget, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
• Monitor expenses, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-saving initiatives when necessary.
• Achieve monthly and annual revenue goals for membership sales, personal training, and retail services.
• Customer Service & Member Relations:
• Address member concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and build lasting relationships with members.
• Implement member retention strategies and create a welcoming and motivating atmosphere.
• Health & Safety Compliance:
• Ensure the fitness center is fully compliant with all health, safety, and insurance regulations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and safety standards, including emergency procedures and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 3 years of experience in fitness management or a similar leadership role within the fitness industry.
• Strong knowledge of fitness trends, equipment, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of driving sales and achieving financial targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
