Requirements
Maintenance : 2 yearsManagement experience : 1 yearGeneral experience in repair / maintenance of equipment and physical buildingGeneral knowledge of HVAC and / or electrical equipmentExcellent organizational, multi-tasking, analytical problem solving, and communication skillsGeneral understanding of computer skills, including email, excel, and digital maintenance logsPrevious experience in health club maintenance strongly preferredReliable transportationCPR / AED certificationPhysical Requirements / Work Environment
Must be able to work in an environment with occasionally high noise levels; weights clanging, feet pounding treadmills, energetic music, and the laughter of lives changing can get loud.Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.Daily duties include lifting weights or equipment, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time, and moving for prolonged periods of time.Must be able to move fitness equipment weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.Regularly exposed to various chemicals, cleaning supplies, and grease / oil from exercise equipmentResponsibilities
Your daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Managing the maintenance technicians to ensure all jobs are being performed with excellence and efficiencyConducting a walk-throughs of the facility, identifying repair / service needs, and maintaining the club's Maintenance LogPartnering with the General Managers to discuss club maintenance needs, and timeline for repairsMaintaining, or overseeing outside service provider maintenance of, the hydro beds, tanning booths, etc. to ensure proper service and maintenance.Procuring repair parts, materials, tools, and equipmentPerforming routine preventative maintenance, including upkeep of associated logs and history filesPerforming monthly OSHA safety checks as required on the OSHA / Preventative Maintenance Guidelines, and modeling all OSHA, company and Facilities department safety guidelinesInteracting with members while on the floor to help maximize their club experienceThe Location
