The National Account Manager for Walmart and Sam’s Club will be tasked with overseeing and advancing the strategic relationship between Crunch Pak, a leading supplier of sliced apples and healthy snacks, and Walmart/ Sam’s Club, one of the company's most significant and high-priority accounts. Crunch Pak is dedicated to delivering premium, nutritious, and convenient products. Work Environment:

Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
· Lead the day-to-day relationship with Walmart and Sam’s Club, serving as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the account.
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key Walmart decision-makers across various departments (e.g., merchandising, supply chain, category management).
· Act as a liaison between Walmart/ Sam’s Club and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of business strategies.
· Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation, ensuring all milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
· Negotiate pricing, promotional terms, and distribution agreements with Walmart to secure profitable and sustainable partnerships.
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
· Drive sales growth and market share within Walmart and Sam’s Club through strategic account planning and execution.
· Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
· Identify and pursue opportunities to expand product assortment or enter new categories within Walmart stores.
- Product Assortment & Innovation:
· Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to ensure the right product assortment is offered to Walmart and Sam’s Club.
· Recommend new product ideas, promotional strategies, and packaging to drive consumer demand and improve shelf space.
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
· Collaborate with Walmart to understand market trends, consumer behavior, and business needs.
· Work with internal marketing and operations teams to develop targeted promotional plans, marketing initiatives, and pricing strategies that align with Walmart’s and Sam’s Club’s objectives.
· Lead the planning and execution of line reviews with Walmart to ensure alignment on growth targets, promotions, and category strategies.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
· Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, logistics, and supply chain, to ensure the successful execution of Walmart strategies.
· Coordinate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries, inventory management, and product availability at Walmart/ Sam’s Club’s distribution centers and stores.
· Work with marketing teams to develop promotions and marketing initiatives that highlight the health and sustainability attributes of Crunch Paks’ products.
· Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency between Crunch Pak and Walmart/ Sam’s Club.
· Develop and implement best practices to ensure effective project execution and smooth communication between internal team and customer.
- Customer Insights and Reporting:
· Monitor and analyze sales data, customer trends, and Walmart/ Sam’s Club’s performance to identify opportunities and challenges.
· Use data to make informed decisions and recommendations to optimize product assortment and promotional strategies.
- Problem Resolution and Customer Satisfaction:
· Address any operational or customer service issues promptly to ensure Walmart & Sam’s club’s satisfaction and minimize any disruptions to the business relationship.
· Proactively manage and resolve any conflicts or concerns related to product quality, supply chain issues, or account discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in national account management, retail sales, or a similar role, with at least 2 years of experience managing accounts with Walmart or other large retailers.
- Proven track record of driving sales, building relationships, and managing large accounts.
- Deep understanding of Walmart and Sam’s Club’s business model, vendor requirements, and retail operations.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with senior-level executives.
- Expertise in developing line review presentations, promotional strategies, and pricing negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with sales analytics and CRM software.
Compensation:
This position is classified as Salaried Exempt with an annual salary range of $110,000 - $160,000 per year.
