Crunch is a cutting-edge startup revolutionizing the restaurant industry with our innovative Point of Sale (POS) system. Our SaaS platform enables restaurants to seamlessly take food orders, process payments, manage food preparation, and track orders efficiently. We are committed to delivering a scalable, user-friendly, and robust technology solution.

We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and oversee the development of our SaaS platform and applications. This is a pivotal role in driving innovation and ensuring our product meets the dynamic needs of the restaurant industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership : Define the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with business goals.
  • Technical Oversight : Supervise architecture, development, and deployment of our SaaS platform and applications, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Team Management : Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Act as the primary technical liaison with stakeholders, partners, and investors.
  • Quality Assurance : Ensure best practices in development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role, preferably within a startup or SaaS environment.
  • Strong expertise in full-stack development with the following :

    • Back-End :

  • NET / C#, ASP.NET Core
  • Entity Framework Core
  • Experience with Azure Services, SQL databases, and query optimization

    • Front-End :

  • JavaScript, React (hooks), Redux libraries
  • SCSS, SASS, LESS, and responsive design
  • RESTful API development and integration
  • Practical experience with Single Page Applications (SPA) and component-based architectures.
  • Proficient with version control systems such as Git or BitBucket.
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable, responsive, and cross-browser compatible applications.
  • Experience with TypeScript, Webpack / Vite, and writing unit tests is a plus.
