About the role
We're looking for a Director Studio Partnerships, Anime Games to lead the discovery of the next generation of anime game developers while overseeing the evaluation, negotiating contracts, and managing the publishing of mobile, PC, and console titles. Reporting to our VP, Games Product, you will strengthen relationships with external studio leaders, internal stakeholders, and business development teams to achieve production and publishing objectives and address concerns. This role is ideal for enthusiasts of Anime and games who excel as innovative problem-solvers, capable of guiding successful game launches with both internal and external partners.
- You will evaluate our current lineup of titles and acquire new ones in alignment with our publishing strategy.
- You will draft deal terms and work with our legal and business development teams to drive contracts to signature
- You will build the processes needed and manage team members to publish 3rd party games on multiple platforms (Mobile, Console & PC)
- You will identify risks early and often and remove roadblocks and performance bottlenecks
- You will lead regular meetings with the studios, individuals and partners to discuss status, resolve issues and share information
- You will ensure a common understanding and agreement on project scope and goals and on any subsequent changes
- You will be an internal product evangelist by distilling and presenting game pitches to our deal team providing transparency into possible successes and challenges
- You will partner with main leads across Product, Marketing, Analytics, Technology, Brand, and more, to develop a player-based, data-informed, go-to-market strategy

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll's Total Rewards offerings for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, employer matched retirement savings, time-off programs, and progressive health benefits and perks.
