Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the establishment.
- Oversee budgeting processes and financial management to achieve operational goals.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
- Manage shifts effectively, ensuring adequate staffing levels and optimal service delivery.
- Monitor food management practices to maintain quality standards and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on strategic planning and operational improvements.
- Address guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Support bartending operations as needed, ensuring adherence to service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a hospitality or food service management role, preferably as an Assistant Manager.
- Strong understanding of budgeting principles and financial management within the industry.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in staff training and development, with a focus on enhancing customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food management practices and health regulations is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with staff and guests.
