We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help us grow our brand and community. Crush Yard's first location is in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Our second location will be opening later this year in Orlando, FL.
Crush Yard is in start-up mode. Work here is not always 9 to 5. Employees are often asked to contribute to work outside of their immediate area of expertise.
Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator will execute Crush Yard's marketing plans through hands-on development of creative assets, operation of messaging platforms, social media and ownership of relationships with Crush Yard's marketing partners and vendors.
This is not an entry level job. We are looking for a jack of all trades creative teammate! It requires at least 2 years of professional experience with graphic design, content creation and marketing. Will require a portfolio or show off work.
Within a single day, the Marketing Coordinator can expect to be using Canva to create on-brand digital assets, distributing them through Mailchimp for email, shooting photo and video for social media, posting calendars, and checking in with the Director of Marketing. Working with managers and team members in person and through email to design digital and printed restaurant signage and branded goods, and speaking via video conference to a variety of contacts and partners about shaping and executing print, digital, and event-based marketing opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuous email marketing campaigns. Will go hand and hand with Charleston email marketing. Connecting with the Charleston coordinator for plans.
- Coordination of relationships with Crush Yard's marketing partners and vendors.
- Shooting, editing, and posting content for social media under revision from the Director of Marketing.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Manage messaging and configuration of social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others.
- Ad-hoc creative development. Primarily creation of still digital images from a library of photography, illustrations, and brand assets. Uploading to google drive.
- Event planning from a marketing perspective. Coordination of invitation design, print material, messaging, etc.
Required Qualifications/Skills
- At least two years of professional experience in marketing, social media and graphic design.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to write quality marketing copy in English.
- Fluent spoken English.
Qualifications/Skills We Value, But Do Not Require
- Passion for sports in general, and pickleball in particular.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Professional experience with photography, videography, and editing.
- Background in Food & Beverage or Events.
