Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pickleball Concierge to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience playing pickleball, be passionate about the sport, and provide exceptional customer service to our players and guests. As a Pickleball Concierge, you will be responsible for managing pickleball court reservations, ensuring the smooth operation of events, teaching novice/intermediate pickleball classes, and providing personalized assistance to enhance the pickleball experience at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Court Reservations: Assist guests with court bookings, manage reservations, and handle any schedule changes or cancellations.
- Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service to all guests by answering questions about programming and memberships, giving information about court availability, and making recommendations for play.
- Event Coordination: Help organize and execute pickleball events, tournaments, and leagues, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.
- Facility Assistance: Monitor and maintain pickleball court conditions and report maintenance needs. Ensure that equipment and supplies (paddles, balls, etc.) are stocked and in good condition.
- Guest Relations: Greet guests, provide facility tours, and create a welcoming environment for new and seasoned pickleball players alike.
- Billing & Payments: Assist with the check-in process, handle payments, and manage membership or event-related transactions.
- Special Requests: Attend to any special requests from players, ensuring they have a positive and enjoyable experience.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Qualifications:
- Strong passion for pickleball and knowledge of the sport's rules and etiquette.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals of all skill levels.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle competing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred, but not required.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
