This position is part of the Legal team. The successful candidate will be a law graduate with 5 years of experience in corporate law or contracts, particularly including working across business, procurement and legal teams on vendor services and supply agreements, purchase orders, and confidentiality agreements. While not required, experience with real estate development and infrastructure projects, renewable development and construction agreements is extremely helpful as well.What You'll Be Working On Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including : Equipment purchase agreementsConsulting agreementsMaster services agreementsLeasesEnergy supply agreementsNon-disclosure agreementsReal estate development and infrastructure agreements (preferred)Renewable development and construction agreements (preferred)Work closely with business stakeholders (e.g., procurement, operations, engineering) to understand their needs and translate them into legally sound and commercially viable contract terms.Advise business stakeholders on the interpretation and management of contractual obligations and risks.Identify and mitigate potential legal and commercial risks associated with contracts.Assist in the resolution of contract disputes.Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process.Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal issues related to the company's business.Stay abreast of relevant legal and industry developments.What You'll Bring to the Team 5 years of law firm and / or in-house experience in contracting for general contracts, energy, and / or infrastructure.Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and / or with such clients.Licensed attorney.No misconduct and in good standing with the State Bar.Strong Analytical Skills : Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning.Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Legal Research : Legal research.Motivated & Collaborative : Motivated self-starter and team player; ability to work collaboratively.Adaptability : Must be able to work in a complex and fast-paced environment.Compliance : Must be able to pass a background check.Embody the Company values.Bonus Points Experience with real estate development and infrastructure projects.Experience with renewable development and construction agreements.Benefits : Industry competitive payRestricted Stock Units in a fast growing, well-funded technology companyHealth insurance package options that include HDHP and PPO, vision, and dental for you and your dependentsEmployer contributions to HSA accountsPaid Parental LeavePaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disabilityTeladoc401(k) with a 100% match up to 4% of salaryGenerous paid time off and holiday scheduleCell phone reimbursementTuition reimbursementSubscription to the Calm appMetLife LegalCompany paid commuter benefit; $100 per pay periodCompensation : Compensation will be paid in the range of $215-250k. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.
