Overnight packaging shifts at Crust are 10 PM to 6 AM.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- "Pick and pack" delivery orders
- Stage deliveries according to driver route in a manner that is highly organized and timely
- Bag, shrink wrap or box items accordingly
- Marking and labeling products accurately
- Ensuring packaging specifications are met
- Performing measures of quality control while packaging items (identify quality issues or items that are subpar)
- Being conscientious of waste and shortages and reporting them to other departments and supervisors as requires
- Use of packaging equipment such as label makers, shrink wrap machines and other machinery
- Setting up and arranging retail display of product prior to the bakery opening
Requirements:
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time as well as lifting (20-35 lbs) and bending repetitively for the duration of an 8 hour shift
- Must have availability that includes overnight shifts, weekends and holidays
