Hiring FOH/Cashier for our Artisan Bakery in Burbank
Position: FOH Team Member/Cashier
LOCATION: Burbank (91504)
Shifts schedule: 3-4 days a week
Employment Type: Part time: 30 - 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders
- Operate POS system to accurately process transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments
- Handle customer inquiries and provide information about bakery products and offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including display cases and dining tables
- Stock and replenish bakery items as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and order accuracy
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assist in opening and closing procedures as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or cashier role preferred
- Knowledge of Toast POS system is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays
- Food handler's certificate (or willingness to obtain one upon hiring)

We are looking for someone dynamic, passionate, driven to learn and looking to self-develop. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as a team player. Basic mathematical skills. Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
