Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician-HVAC/R Mechanic
Scope of Performance: Qualified industrial maintenance technician to support maintenance, repair, and installation of explosive and chemical processing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot defects or malfunctions in HVAC/R and mechanical systems. Conduct inspections using diagnostic techniques such as direct digital control systems and standalone interfaces.
- Diagnose HVAC/R issues with comfort cooling, integrated dehumidification systems, energy recovery ventilators, dedicated outdoor air supply systems, chillers, boilers, ductless mini-split systems, and geothermal systems.
- Perform corrective maintenance on components or entire systems according to specifications and mechanical codes.
- Maintain a wide variety of HVAC/R systems, from small residential units to large industrial chillers and boilers.
Requirements:
- Master's or Journeyman's License (supplemented by experience)
- Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass explosives handler physical and respirator fit tests
- Able to pass Ammo-18 certification class
- Sound technical and computer skills
- Able to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.)
About the Role: This position requires a qualified industrial maintenance technician to work in all explosive and chemical processing areas. The successful candidate will be subject to physical examinations and certification requirements. Varying shifts, including night shifts, may be required.
