Crye-Leike, REALTORS is seeking to fill an open part-time Human Resources Benefits position at the corporate office located in Memphis, TN.
Job Duties
- Manage benefits open enrollment, communications, and presentations for multiple companies
- Advise employees regarding benefits and leave programs
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Process all benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Ensure all changes for the new plan year are updated accordingly
- Investigate and resolve benefits issues/questions directly with employees
- Process all monthly billing and reconcile benefit invoices and payroll accounts
- Process all benefit paperwork such as insurance enrollment, Fidelity, Hartford, and Workers Comp, etc.
- Prepare and send Payroll-related documents to payroll department
- Communicate with Payroll regarding changes in statistical information and/or benefits information
- Process all workers comp, OSHA and accident reporting
- Process all unemployment claims
- Maintain all enrollments, changes and deletions of the insurance coverage for medical, dental, life insurances, STD and LTD insurance, 401(k) and other voluntary benefit plans
- Manage all STD and LTD claims
- Assist the HR Team as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years experience as a Benefits Specialist/HR Generalist
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Advanced MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with FMLA, ACA, and various federal/state laws applicable to employee benefits
- Handle confidential information with discretion
