Job Description
This position will be responsible for:
- Manage real estate closing office for regional title agency
- Conduct and oversee real estate closings in compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, mortgage lender instructions, title insurance underwriting requirements, and company policies
- Examine evidence of real estate titles for determination of insurability in accordance with title underwriter standards
- Manage staff employees in office
- Maintain escrow account(s) in compliance with company and title underwriter standards
- Marketing and sales functions to develop new business
- Current license to practice law in the state of Tennessee
- Title Agent License issued by the state of Tennessee (can be obtained after employment)
- At least two years of experience closing residential real estate transactions
- Familiarity with SoftPro closing software suite a plus.
