Senior Project Manager

Position Summary:

The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for cross-functional project leadership at MVE Biological Solutions. Their role will ensure that projects achieve desired outcomes from product definition through commercialization. This role will help teams define and achieve the objectives and goals required to complete projects on time and within budget.

Primary Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

• Planning and coordination of all product development project activities, translating strategy into cross-functional project plans
• Effectively lead, guide, and manage teams of internal and external cross functional resources to achieve the established project milestones
• Work effectively with Functional (resource) Managers to allocate required resources and skill sets for successful completion of project deliverables.
• Prioritize projects and associated tasks by identifying the critical path, recognizing obstacles or barriers, and working with the team to effectively resolve issues and/or conflicts as they arise.
• Identify, anticipate and effectively manage project risks and issues, and provide specific mitigation and corrective action strategies
• Oversee all phases of the product development process from feasibility to launch, with excellent understanding of design control principles
• Develop presentations and communicate project status against key project milestones and budget for a broad set of stakeholders
• Effectively manage multiple projects across MVE’s three locations

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering , or Scientific discipline
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
• Demonstrated experience leading product development projects from concept to product release.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in product development or project management in a regulated industry: medical device (preferred), pharmaceutical, or aerospace.
