Position : Nonprofit Salesforce Administrator
Reporting to : Associate Vice President, Technology
Location : Bentonville, AR
Job Summary :
Reporting to the AVP of Technology, the Salesforce Administrator plays a critical role in managing and optimizing our Salesforce ecosystem to support key organizational functions, including grant management, fundraising, program management, and business operations. This role is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our databases, ensuring they align with business needs and drive efficiency.
Acting as a technical project manager, administrator, and Salesforce analyst, the Salesforce Administrator will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes. This position is 100% dedicated to advancing our mission, leveraging technology to enhance operations and maximize impact.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary system administrator for all Salesforce environments within the organization, ensuring optimal performance, security, and functionality.
- Leverage data strategically to support and enhance the organization’s mission, improving decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Manage core administrative tasks, including user account maintenance, page layout modifications, report and dashboard creation, and field configurations.
- Gather, analyze, and implement system improvements by collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and optimize Salesforce functionality.
- Automate workflows and processes using Salesforce tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Validation Rules to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Oversee and maintain integrations with third-party applications, managing less complex integrations internally while coordinating with external consultants for larger projects.
- Research, install, and maintain AppExchange solutions for event management, mass email, document merging, and other essential functions.
- Develop and deliver training programs to empower users across the organization, fostering a culture of Salesforce proficiency and adoption.
- Maintain thorough documentation of customizations, configurations, and system updates to ensure consistency and knowledge-sharing.
- Plan for and execute system upgrades, seasonal releases, and long-term platform improvements to keep Salesforce aligned with evolving business needs.
