Schedule and Pay:
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 3:15 PM ; Friday 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM ; OT after as needed
Salary Grade C
$19.20 - $22.40
Job Summary:
The Special Builder is responsible for building standard, angled frameless cabinets.
Job Duties:
- Reviews construction orders and prioritizes work.
- Retrieves parts for jobs.
- Fabricates parts as needed, cutting angles, drilling pocket holes and doweling.
- Builds cabinets, gluing, clamping, stapling, screwing i.e., lazy susans, wall cabinets, etc.
- Puts hardware on cabinets.
- Cleans and inspects cabinets.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
- Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
- Fills in other areas as needed.
