Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining audio-visual systems for various projects. Duties
- Design and implement audio-visual systems tailored to client specifications.
- Install and configure equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
- Conduct field service activities to troubleshoot and repair audio-visual equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and voltmeters to perform maintenance and repairs on AV systems.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support during installations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working with electrical systems.
- Provide training to clients on the operation of installed audio-visual equipment.
Requirements
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to audio-visual systems.
- Experience in field service roles, particularly in the installation and maintenance of AV equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and cabling techniques.
- Familiarity with computer hardware as it relates to audio-visual technology.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Ability to telecommunicate effectively when coordinating projects or troubleshooting remotely.
