Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator

Crystal Creamery a Dairy Manufacturing in Modesto is seeking an experienced and dedicated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of EHS compliance within our dairy manufacturing facility, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, while adhering to environmental regulations and promoting sustainability initiatives. Key Responsibilities : Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures in line with local, state, and federal regulations.Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.Lead and support the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring proper reporting and corrective actions are taken.Organize and conduct safety training for employees to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to maintain a safe working environment.Monitor environmental compliance, including waste disposal, air quality, water use, and energy efficiency.Ensure adherence to OSHA and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.Maintain and update EHS documentation, including incident reports, safety logs, and regulatory records.Collaborate with management and other departments to promote a safety-first culture and continuous improvement.Assist with the implementation of sustainability initiatives and energy-saving programs.Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in EHS coordination, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental laws, and best practices in EHS management.Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Certification in EHS-related fields (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or similar) is a plus.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work with a committed team in a rapidly growing company.A focus on employee well-being and safety.Ongoing professional development opportunities.
