What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Entry Specialist - Customer Service (in-office) position at Crystal D?
Crystal D is actively seeking a highly motivated Order Processing Specialist The ideal candidate would be highly detailed and extremely tech savvy with the ability to navigate multiple systems and monitors. You would excel in this position if you can read and enter variable data from purchase orders into our order system. Some orders will require contacting the customers if information is missing or if we need further clarification on the purchase order. Seamless communication is the key in this position, so all departments working on the order have all the info they need, to produce the order. Once the order is entered a seamless transition occurs over to the Order Managers and they will manage the order with our customers until the order ships. Proactively communicates order information with both internal and external customers. Anticipates customer’s needs and concerns Intentionally provides appropriate “follow-through” to customers, during the entry process, to ensure customer satisfaction Determines ways of improving the customer experience by providing and sharing of feedback between team members Support CSS Team by acting as a backup for needs of the department Uses effective listening / questioning techniques – listens to customers / co-workers intently and asks questions to achieve clear understanding Is considered to be an expert in knowledge of products and services and in the application of products and services offered by Crystal D Update customer database to keep account, contact and opportunity information current Hours are typically Monday-Friday between the hours of 8a-5p. However, during busy times, overtime and weekend hours will be required. Hybrid work schedule may be available. Technical Skills Is polite, tactful, patient, professional, and diplomatic while working with customers Uses processes and technology to improve the quality and efficiency of service or production; follows processes well, applies training effectively Can maintain and grow technical knowledge and expertise.
