Backend Software Engineer - GenAI Infrastructure Operations

Hybrid Fremont, CA

Job Summary :

  • We're seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and help build reliable infrastructure for our client's Generative AI (GenAI) systems. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in developing solutions that ensure the smooth operation of our GenAI infrastructure.
  • Our team provides technical operational support through engineering solutions and services that enable operations at scale. We leverage a range of internal customer tools and frameworks to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with Software Engineers, Data Engineers and ML Engineers
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that support our GenAI operations efforts
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through rigorous testing and monitoring
  • Requirements :
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3 years of experience in backend software engineering
  • Experience with distributed systems, large scale data processing (Ingestion, Storage, Job Scheduling, Processing, Query / SQL, ETL jobs, APIs)
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C or Python
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building with a diverse, global, and cross-functional team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Pay range is $70 - $75 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical / dental / vision / life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
