What You’ll Do:
As a key part of the Human Resources team, you’ll assist with daily operations across multiple HR functions, with a strong focus on coordination, communication, and compliance. You'll be the go-to resource for employee questions, benefit support, and administrative tasks that help keep everything running behind the scenes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, files, and documentation
- Respond to team member and applicant questions on policies, benefits, and processes, referring complex issues to senior HR staff
- Manage and track sensitive paperwork, including FMLA and ADA processes, ensuring timely communication and follow-up
- Release and track attendance notices for supervisors
- Support Total Rewards functions such as benefits orientation scheduling, open enrollment prep, and assisting with claims or eligibility questions
- Serve as the on-site benefits contact, supporting employees as they navigate their options
- Schedule interviews and pre-employment activities for new hires in partnership with Talent Acquisition
- Help employees access and navigate systems such as Paycom
- Assist with HR audits, policy updates, and handbook revisions
- Serve as a backup for HR Business Partners during transitions or leaves
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and compliance, including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ACA, ERISA, and DOL regulations
- Experience using HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Experience managing multiple priorities and working both independently and collaboratively
Working Environment:
- Primarily office-based, with occasional time spent on the manufacturing floor
- May require occasional evening or weekend availability to support all shifts
