General Summary:
Oversee the daily operations of the plant and ensures compliance with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards. Uses independent judgment and exercises discretion in executing duties. Coaches, mentors, trains, and motivates the team to achieve performance excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible to supervise all personnel and manufacturing operations in the department. Maintains thorough knowledge of all manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Participate as a key member of the team in total business strategy and tactical planning.
- Plan, develop and implement business plan.
- Coordinate activities of manufacturing, engineering and maintenance to effect operational efficiency and economy.
- Create and monitor manufacturing goals, objectives along with establishing performance metrics to ensure attainment of periodic sales, operating and profitability measures.
- Responsible for achieving maximum production efficiency in the department by monitoring production efficiencies and making necessary adjustments to meet and exceed goals.
- Assist with the direction and coordination of products manufactured or services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry.
- Lead/Participate in the continuous improvement process.
- Responsible for producing the best quality product at all times by ensuring all employees are trained to what customers expectations are, identify product for rejection, rework, etc. and all customers receive product that meets or exceeds standards/expectations.
- Adhere to established Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all associates.
- Assists in resolving conflicts with individuals in the department. Follow up on matters until resolution is achieved and communicated.
- Responsible for providing a safe environment for all production employees and visitors.
- Adhere to established Policies, Critical Business Practices, Standards, and Standard Operating Procedure.
- Undertake job responsibilities in a manner consistent with the Company's Core Values.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Consults with and updates appropriate resources like Human Resources, Safety, etc. with any questions, concerns, or comments when appropriate.
- Represents Crystal Finishing Systems in a positive manner at all times.

8-10 years of leadership in a manufacturing setting.

Experience with lean manufacturing preferred.
