Position Overview
We are seeking a Traveling Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role focuses on traveling to various facilities to provide maintenance support to onsite staff in order to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency through precise troubleshooting, repairs, and routine maintenance. You will collaborate closely with Director of Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical documentation.
- Perform repairs on equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other facility machinery as needed.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete repairs safely and efficiently.
- Strive to optimize machinery settings to enhance line efficiency.
- Maintain reliable attendance and uphold a professional, team-oriented attitude.
Required Competencies
- Proficiency with mechanical, electrical (24–480V), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Basic fabrication skills; TIG welding experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of PLC.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Qualifications
- 4 years’ experience in similar industrial maintenance environment.
- Bottling Experience a plus.
- Excellent attendance record and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to teamwork.
