Commercial Ice Machine Technician
Crystal Ice has been a leader in commercial ice machine sales, service, maintenance and rentals with a focus on excellent customer service since 1992. We are currently seeking a Commercial Ice Machine Technician to work hand in hand with Sales and Front Office to provide a seamless and efficient work environment.
As an Ice Machine Technician, you will work independently to receive inbound service requests, cleaning, maintaining, troubleshooting and installation of ice machines, and ensuring the proper documentation is completed to maximize efficiency. Above all requiring excellence in customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Follow and complete all required documentation.
- Work independently at customer locations in a professional manner.
- Troubleshoot any equipment related problems with ice machines and water filtration systems.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on the equipment, as well as maintain PM documentation.
- Complete repairs as needed on rental ice machine and customer owned ice machines.
- Installation and removal of ice machines.
- Develop and maintain a service schedule.
- Keep all account(s) and equipment clean and well maintained and manage parts inventory.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required based on business and customer needs.
- Ability to read and write English, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, etc. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- 2 Years minimum ice machine experience required.
- EPA License required.
- Driver's License required.
- Must have a good driving record and pass a background check.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, some nights and weekends as required.
- Ability to raise, lower, climb and balance on ladders safely.
- Ability to work at ease at elevated heights (including on a roof).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to utilize technology to maximize efficiency.
- Ability to follow procedures and contribute to maximizing efficiency.
- Exceptional written and spoken communication that is clear and concise.

Schedule:
