We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer service and administrative support within a medical office environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while managing various front desk responsibilities efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage phone calls with professionalism, utilizing strong phone etiquette to address inquiries and schedule appointments.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with the intake process, including collecting patient information and verifying insurance details, including Medicare.
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Support dental or medical reception duties as needed, providing comprehensive medical administrative support.
Skills
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred, with familiarity in systems used for scheduling and patient management.Use of Dentrix ,eaglesoft,dentimax is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Strong phone etiquette skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Receptionist is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
