Crystal Lake Healthcare & Rehabilitation, is seeking attentive and knowledgeable Certified Nursing Assistants to join our agency! CNA's will assist our nurses and other medical staff by providing direct personal care for patients on a daily basis.
Certified Nursing Assistant applicant : The ideal candidate joins us with an active certification, a love for other’s well-being and a positive outlook on residential care. In addition, the CNA will be responsible for :
- Providing great patient care
- Answering patient calls and determining how best to help
- Providing physical support for our residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, moving, bathroom assistance, walking, standing, or exercising
- Turning and repositioning patients who require such
- Providing patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; assisting in transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests, and reporting observations to nursing supervisor
- Obtaining a wide range of information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities
- Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
- Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures
- Protects organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential
- Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure
- Enhances nursing department and facility reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
