Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Make specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations for resort guests.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in an accurate and timely matter.
- Pre-bus tables between each course.
- Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
- Complete opening and closing checklists.
- Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.
- Monitor, observe and check on guests during dining experience.
- Ensure we have exceeded our guest's experience in our food and service.
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
- TIPS/TAMS Certified. May be obtained after employment.
- Previous experience as a server a plus.
- POS experience a plus.
- Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology.
- Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.
- High School or equivalent.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
- Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
- Non-smoking candidates preferred.
