Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with medical procedures, including gastric lavage and airway management
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Document patient information in electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Cerner
- Assist with behavioral health support for patients with special needs
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment by following proper infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) and sterile processing is a plus
