What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at Crystal Pool and Spa?
Crystal Pool is the area's largest store dedicated solely to pools & spas and everything that goes along with them. We are a family owned and operated swimming pool company seeking full-time and seasonal Retail Sales Associates with prior experience.
With over 7,000 square feet and thousands of items, we have the widest variety of products and the largest inventory around. This position is responsible for keeping the store clean, performing water testing, and helping with customer needs to provide the best experience to our consumers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Customer service, cashiering, scheduling service calls, and selling products.
- Stocking merchandise and arranging merchandise displays to promote sales.
- Keeping the showroom clean and orderly.
- Perform pool water analysis and determine solutions for issues.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Must be at least 18 years of age with prior retail or customer service experience.
- Minimum of six months experience using smart technology in a retail setting.
- Ability to interpret documents, technical diagrams, and instructions.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to work with minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Standing and walking for extended periods of time, frequent bending, climbing, moving of ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Pay Range
This position pays between $16 - $18 per hour, depending on prior experience.
