Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines, including setup, adjustments, and monitoring of production runs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accuracy.
- Perform tool changes and offsets to maintain quality and meet production requirements.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Measure and inspect finished products using precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Record production data, including quantities, measurements, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and improve processes.
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC operations or machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment (2 years preferred).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic understanding of G-code and CNC programming.
