Structural Engineering Consultant

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. At Crystalizations Systems Inc., we design and fabricate custom storage systems for textiles and paintings for museums, private collectors, artists, and galleries. The systems were originally designed by an aerospace engineer, so please know that its not as mundane as it sounds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing our custom storage system structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and compliant with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively on diverse projects. There is also an opportunity for travel in this position, both national and international, and we are flexible when it comes to working remotely versus in person, time can be split between the two.

Duties

• Develop detailed structural designs and specifications for various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD and to create accurate drawings and models.
• Conduct structural analysis to assess the integrity and stability of designs under various conditions.
• Collaborate with fabrication and manufacturing teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Draft reports and documentation summarizing design decisions, calculations, and project progress.

Skills

• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles related to structural design and analysis.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with project scheduling techniques to manage timelines efficiently.
