Role andResponsibilities for the Fiber Advanced Drop PlacementTechnician
- Installation of fiber optic drops forresidential and commercial customers.
- Ensuringcontinuity of all drops placed via redlight.
- Place aerial or buried fiber opticdrops.
- Observe all safety rules and OSHAregulations.
- Work at heights by using / settingup various types of ladders.
- Work in confinedspaces.
- Teamwork Assist other technicians inthe performance of their duties whenrequested.
- Must convey a positive andprofessional appearance and demeanor when communicating thecompanys products and services to ourcustomers.
- Have an ability to adapt to newprocesses and new information frequently.
- Useinternal systems for work order notation and timekeeping.
- Keep customerappointments.
- Maintain minimum acceptablemetrics with Repeats Productivity andCompletions.
- The ability to relocate throughoutdifferent regions of NNE periodically to maintain the clients workvolumes.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements for the Fiber Advanced Drop PlacementTechnician
- Fiber optic internet and home phone serviceexperience preferred but not required. We offer paid training.
- Must satisfy company required tools and safetyequipment checklist.
- Must have own truck van orSUV with a ladder rack.
- Must have own tools toperform the job.
- Smartphone and Laptop (withMicrosoft Excel) are required.
- Lift up to 80lbsunassisted.
- Effective communication skills andability to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonalskills and teamwork.
- Must pass background checkMVR screen and drug test.
- Must be accountableand dependable.
- Have an ability to take input fromcustomers supervisors leads and coworkers to problem solve andimprove skills.
Compensation
The pay is production based. Rates will be provided uponresume submission new updated rates now available! Paid trainingavailable.
